Jon's Awesome Behavior

Jon, my youngest son, who is 14 months old now, has learned a couple of new things.

First of all, Jon is a screamer! When things don't go his way, he screams and after awhile it can been annoying.

New Awesome Behavior #1:
When he sippy is empty (or not the rightone) he will throw it on the ground and scream, flop on his butt and scream, and then throw himself backwards on the floor and scream some more. He has learned not to throw himself backward if he is not on carpeted area. Tile Hurts! Duh!

New Awesome Behavior #2:
When I see that Jon is ready for a clean diaper, I'll start to get it around (this way I'm not scrambling at the last minute being urinated on). Then I call Jon, who comes running with excitement, that is until he sees what I have in my hand. This is the point where he stops running towards me and starts to walk backwards, and starts (you guessed it!) screaming. Now it doesn't matter what is behind him, if he bumps into something he'll walk alongside of it until the objects ends and then continue on to walking backwards.

I can't wait for him to grow out of this phase! It will happen right???

I can't say that I know what you are going through but I can totally sympathize with you! I am so sorry. I can only guess that it will end. Everything does eventually! :)

Hehe, it'll end. My little cousins (practically baby sister and baby brother) used to be really fussy like that too. Just wait 'til they grow up. ^.^ I mean, in a good way of course. :)
