More Market Bags

I haven't been able to sew much in the past couple of weeks...I was able to get three quilts quilted, which I'll be working on the binding all this week for those. But I want to be able to show you something, so I whipped up these two market bags, from "One Yard Wonders"


Mmmm...I'm in love with this bag, I can't wait to start carrying it around for shopping.


Fabric Used for Outside:

Print Name: Daisy Bouquet in Porch
Weight: Home Decor (Cotton Canvas - 54")

Fabric Used for Lining:
Designer: Heather Bailey
Collection: Nicey Jane
Print Name: Hop Dot in Tangerine
Weight: Quilting (Cotton - 44/45")

I also used Pellon 931TD Fusible Mid-weight, which I fused to the outside fabric.


This bag is cute for a little girl, so I think I'll put it up until Christmas and give it to one of my nieces....maybe I'll put another handmade something inside as a surprise.

Collection: Color Basic
Print Name: Pin Dots in Pink
Weight: Quilting (Cotton - 44/45")

I also use Pellon 808 Craft Fuse, since the fabrics were so light-weight, this gave it more stability....maybe a little too much considering the bag stands up on it's own.

Note: All fabrics bought from Hawthorne Threads, but I can't seem to find the material for the Owl bag, which means they must likely do not carry it anymore.
